Back to work and the sun shone all day - pah! Spent a couple of interesting hours in University Limerick talking to the first year student midwives about the 2nd stage of labour. Feel like the old midwife ! What lovely young women, hope they can be the midwives they want to be and not get sucked in to hospital conveyer belt system .
