Neither of my dogs have ever been happy in the waiting room at the vets.

Despite at least weekly visits towards the end, Ripley never settled whilst we waited.

Today Roo just rested in a patch of sunlight. Even as other dogs and a reptile came and went she just rested and didn’t react.

An unusual experience for me but one that just evidenced what I already knew.

Just over an hour of waiting on some tests and she was admitted as she had become dehydrated.

The vets is unmanned overnight and I got a call at 6 to say she would be discharged to my care overnight but that she needed to return to the IV in the morning.

Happy to have her home.
