Pasque Flower

I've been watching the progress of this little plant when I take the dogs out on a Tuesday. Today I was able to enjoy those lovely maroon coloured flowers

We pass some lovely gardens on our walk and the flowers are so much further ahead than mine. My Pasque Flower is fluffing up nicely but no sign of any flowers yet. With my luck it will flower when I am through in Fife for a couple of weeks.

The other plant that will no doubt flower when I am away is my white amaryllis. The first stem flowered a couple of weeks ago. The second stem is now so tall that I couldn't even get it in the car so on the window sill it will stay and the passersby can enjoy the flowers.
