Leucojum

A walk down to Gilmerton wood today where it was more sheltered from the wind. This Leucojum is growing wild near the beehives. Not as sharp as I would have liked because of the wind. I like the little green dots on the ends of the petals. I photographed some at my friends in April last year so everything seems to be a bit earlier this year. It looks a bit like an oversized snowdrop.
