Guildford again

I had to go back to Guildford to return a purchase. Such a nuisance, but thank goodness for Park and Ride. Purchases returned, and I wasn't able to get a replacement sadly.
But it did mean an opportunity for an interesting blip, taken in one of Guildford's little side streets.
My extra today is "the Surrey Student" a lively statue at the foot of the High Street. Guildford is a university town. When I was in my teens only the top students could aspire to a place at university, so sadly I didn't have that opportunity. I was happy when daughter Anna went to UMIST and I loved to hear about University life second hand.
