Big George

Big George is finished; sanded, detailed, oiled and de-scaffolded, and glorious he is too.

It's been a while since we dug 'little' George out of the rubbish dump in the tennis court area.

If anyone is thinking the style of these looks familiar, it's loosely the style of the 'Lewis' chessmen - a hoard of 12th century chess pieces - many with zoned-out, manic or face-palm expressions, almost as if they'd predicted Brexit.

Oh - is anyone surprised by the nod to boardgaming? No, I thought not.
