Derwent Dam

The middle completed in 1916 of three reservoirs in the Upper Derwent Valley. The one above is the Howden Dam (completed in 1914) and the one below is Ladybower (completed in 1945). The Howden Dam were used by 617 Squadron to practise for the Dambusters Raid in 1943
