Food shopping

Why did I think going into town today was a good idea? The penultimate Saturday before Christmas?! It was mobbed. Actually mobbed. Amidst the madness of the shoppers it was nice seeing a guy climb over a barrier to retrieve a woman's subway pass. I like seeing random acts of kindness. Restores your faith in humanity. Especially after the news yesterday.

I did muster enough energy to finish my Christmas shopping and get all the food for making Christmas dinner tomorrow for some friends. My sister and I are cooking this year on the actual day so I wanted to have a practice. All the veg is prepped and the turkey is defrosting. I'm looking forward to tomorrow!
