Pathway to the River.
I have always loved bodies of water. They have provided me with a cool and refreshing swim on a hot summer day. Fish to fill my belly when I am hungry. Even bioluminescent jellyfish that will light up the water during a midnight swim.
Having a canoe was a freedom that I believe shaped who I am today. It gave me a intense respect for nature and calm mornings to observe it.
It makes me think of how in native American culture that a body of water such as a river would be a verb instead of a noun. The body of water would be a being. This resonates me while I think about my relationship with the river. It is not a static object but something that flows and is.
