A night in the Land of Spike

'Imaginary Worlds' is an exhibition of Spike Gerrell's work at the Hertford Theatre Gallery.

I have commissioned Spike since I worked on City Limit's Magazine in the mid eighties and am a big admirer of his work.

I packed Gary Lonergan in the car and we piled up to Hertford for his Private View. I invited Jane and Chris Davalle plus the Bainbridge too, so we made a night of it.

I dropped Gary off just after 11pm.

Great night and lovely to meet everyone's families.
