Playing is such hard work

People talk about the developmental stages of childhood, is he reaching? Rolling? Sitting? What they don't talk about is the other type of development - attention span, following you with his eyes, ad the big one - BOREDOM.

I have slowly seen that he gets bored more quickly, his attention drops and I find myself having to change activities more often :) no longer does a lamaze toy hold his interest for long, and I've had to google "action songs" because "5 little ducks" is beginning to hurt my mental health :)

One good thing about this development is the cuteness of falling asleep in the middle of doing something. I'm lucky that in the evening he will happily play in his bouncer while we eat our dinner. With the addition of a Santa toy I think it all got too much and he melted!

I know H will say it, but look at those cheeks!
