Meanwhile at The Park

It started to rain. We had not gone with our normal walking group as the weather was looking a bit dubious so it was up Mt Vic instead and there is a dog area on the way so The Boss stopped and chatted to a nice lady and woofer. And then it rained so we headed into the bush and he really liked the structure of this tree on the way.
Then everything went black as he popped the rain cover on his pack and me.

It's not raining now and still light so it is outing time again I think...
Down south the weather on our west coast of the South Island has demolished a major bridge near Franz Josef which will slow the tourists down for a few days I guess and it is disappointing to read that more coal than ever is being burnt in power stations around the world to keep pace with economic growth. No wonder the kids went on strike.....
The dogs should too...
