Morning…..

………………….….Colour


I stood in the misty rain this morning and photographed the faint colour in the sky as today’s sunrise was approaching - hidden behind a very grey cover.  However, the colour faded quickly as heavier rain dropped from the heavens. 

The rain was very welcome, but it didn’t last as long as expected and by late afternoon it cleared, followed by blue sky and some sunshine before sunset.

Thanks to BobsBlips for hosting the Wide Wednesday challenge - not a lot of colour for the majority of the day, but at least there was some!


Many thanks for the comments, stars and hearts for yesterday’s Jiminy Cricket. They are nocturnal insects which are very obvious by their noise, but rarely seen during daylight hours.
