Blue and Red

'I thought we might have brunch in Boulder' said M, so this morning we squeezed all our purchases into our suitcases, including a new one for the excess, and left Denver shortly after sunrise.

Brunch in Boulder was excellent, as was the scenic drive up, up and up to around 10,000 ft where we could only manage a few moments outside the car to take photos before the thin air and icy winds sent us diving back for warmth and a chance to get our breath back.

We're now ensconced in front of the fire in our condo to the sound of the gusting winds outside. Snow is forecast so expect a white blip tomorrow.
