Stamens - camellia

The first few flowers are coming out on this camellia. I have still got the macro lens and two extension tubes on my camera from yesterday so got in close to these stamens for this shot.  I was surprised at how dirty the flowers are maybe because we haven't had rain for so long the dirt and dust hasn't been washed off.  I think we had 10 drops of rain this morning!!! although it is forecast for tomorrow.
