Wide Wednesday...Colourful

A fairly lazy day today, an hour spent in the garden cutting back the old dried grasses from last year's growth, and the afternoon in the summerhouse reading my book group book.....not a very good one this month, which is a rare occurrence ! My new neighbour and his young nephew, who is staying with him temporarily, came over to look at the pond and the thousands of tadpoles .We had a lively chat, and he put up two small bird boxes.....another lover of wildlife  in the garden :) A long view of a colourful part of the garden for wide angle Wednesday :))
