How does your garden grow?

With weeds, rapidly it seems! I came home today to a sea of yellow - alas they were dandelions not beautiful flowers!

That nutcase of a friend of mine (TeeJay) dragged me up (or should I say down) the west bank of the Matakitaki river today. I have to say after 11km I was barely walking and when I stopped I nearly passed out. The heat was insufferable and silly me hadn't had enough to eat before she left for the 2 1/2 hour walk so felt VERY light headed by the end. Oh and I seem to be the only one I know who gets blisters on the balls of my feet. Not funny!
But hey I walked 11km and survived, next the Heaphy - Yeah Right!
