Thirteen years of tea and scissors!
Vacant shop, abandoned chair
Birds roost in hairnets
Lone brush rolls
Across the chequered floor.
Who could have guessed that my first personal loss of Brexit would have been my hairdresser's premises? I admit to not having bought any clothes in the shop for ages, but it's not because I've been clothes shopping online. Far from it.
I must try to track down my hairdresser. I hope she can find somewhere else to work from.
On a positive note, the sun shone. All day. I took the children to Iceland and we bought ice creams. Then we walked back to their Dad's and I bought an armload of flowers from the stall in the street.
