Bring on the feather boas!

I had a fab time tonight with Fi watching Saint Etienne. The gig was at Concorde 2 in Brighton, which I hadn't been to before in its new venue. When I lived in Brighton, I used to go to the Concorde to see folk such as Fatboy Slim, The Propellerheads and Sneakerpimps - it was a great era. The new space is still relatively small - fantastic for seeing such an iconic band - and we managed to scuttle near the front. We were amused by the six rows of guys near the front who clearly worshipped Sarah Cracknell. She is indeed fab and gorgeous so I can't blame them at all. It was a brilliant gig, from the support band Scritti Politti to Driving Home for Christmas.
