~Purple Finch~

Today my friend Lori came over. She is planning on moving to Montana by summer. I will mishear. We have been close friends for 35 years now.
After she left I ran a dozen errands, Went to District court to pay my speeding ticket.
Finished the day off at the neighbors for a chat and some sherry.
As Lori and I were on the deck we watched this finch. Hard to believe she said she had never seen one before.
