Going Down

Hiked from the rim to the bottom of Canyon de Chelly this morning. In the afternoon we were driven upstream in a 4WD Chevy Suburban to view old cliff dwelling sites, driven by a Hopi native who lives in the Canyon during the Summer. There were mutiple water crossings — we saw one vehicle stuck in the stream.
