In the pink

Well, in a manner of speaking.
We've had some good rain today which is very welcome indeed (though not the deluge that our West Coasters have suffered...https://www.odt.co.nz/regions/bright-outlook
...and secondly I have cut all the leftovers of my pinkish hexagon fabrics into random lengths of 2 and a half inch width, joined them all on the cross and made many metres of binding ,  finally pressed double, in the French fashion, ready to apply to the pinkish quilt which yesterday, we took to the Quilter of the Glen in Ngaruawahia. She will work her magic in daisies, scrolls and a leafy swagged border after sandwiching quilt top, batting and backing, then return it to me to bind.
