And later over to scrape a bit of old varnish and stained wood off using the Bahco wonder tool. And old Jack came wandering round looking at all the activity - his own boat has got too much for him so is up for sale.
Up to Herringbone to meet up with Paul and Lorna for a blether and eat - Paul heads off to Greece on Friday - I’ll see him out there in six weeks time.
Then finally the regular get together, and we got the cycling dates agreed - earlier this year so I’ll be back on my birthday - but missing a week of the festival.
And half way through, someone held up a newsflash - no majority for any Brexit option. What a stramash. What a shitshow. And now it seems Theresa May doesn't have enough support to resign!
