Apparently Theresa (aka the Mad Queen) has promised to resign if her deal goes through. Clearly her long game all along has to appear so utterly unhinged that people would happily sacrifice their first born child to be rid of her - thus gratefully agreeing to her festering deal as the price.

Sadly the shifty crowd of chancers in the frame to replace her (best quote - “It’s like Game of Thrones, but all of the options are Joffrey”) do mean that the champagne is likely to stay on ice no matter what.
