mince pies

Today I am at home with Harry. I thought that he would enjoy cutting out the stars for my mince pies and he has done a very good job indeed. Cooking at home with children is always fun, I loved doing it when my boys were small. Jacob and Millie loved baking with me too and it is a lesson for life when you learn to bake. It is a bit like being at school, first the reading lesson, then the maths andthen the science all in a recipe!
