River view

On my way home from work I did a little detour to investigate this area to see whether or not it seems a nice place to start a walk. It does seem so. Behind where I'm standing now there's a large parking area and it's the starting point of several walks. I'll be back.

Across the river is Ameide, which is about 10 km west of my home. In summertime there's a ferry from Ameide to this side of the river. Very convenient, I can leave my car in Ameide.
