Sunset over Ben Lomond

Good to be back and to discover what’s new in the garden.
 
Lots of camellias in flower, along with daffodils, early rhododendrons and hellebores.  Both ponds have got masses of frogs spawn and I have seen two enormous frogs.
Some magpies have started nesting in the holly tree (bad news). While the grey squirrels have disappeared I have found traces of deer- broken flowers, and twigs where they have leapt over into the garden. 
 
Meanwhile its good to look out again on to mountains and green fields.
Finally it’s been a day of catching up with shopping and laundry. And Brexit…
 
Oh yes Taz , back from the cattery, has spent a large part of today staking out his territory again. Some things never change.
