new leaves

Since last Thursday the leaves on the crab apples in the park have started to come out.
Cafe was even more busy - it was a toastie week this week, though we still had planty of rolls to fill.
Another short walk to the ponds afterwards (after buying soup ongredients for the weekend) where I met the Ranger and helped unblock the outflow one pond  or the path would have flooded again.
Now doing all the pre-weekend jobs as we're going away for the weekend.
