Caerlaverock Wetland Centre

Today's the day …………………… to feed the swans

Another visit to the Caerlaverock Wetland Centre - this time with Tessa and Josie. 

We arrived in time to watch the wild Whooper and Mute swans being fed.  We sat in the comfort of the Sir Peter Scott Observatory (see extra) - and as we were the only visitors there, we had very personal attention from the friendly and knowledgeable warden.  She told us everything we needed to know and we learnt a lot.
