Cable ready

Today we had a nearly quarter mile trench dug so that we can have cable installed. The trench is 4 feet deep and crosses the road twice. We have to drive over the soy bean field to get to the house. Cable said they would be here tomorrow, but now they are not answering the phone. I hope the farmer doesn't pick this weekend to plow, because then we will have quite a walk to get home.
I hope it is worth all the effort and expense. We have been using cellular so far. The nearest tower is several miles away so the service is very spotty and weather dependent. My husband and I have learned to be very patient. Blipping has been quite slow as it takes several minutes to upload the photos, and viewing on the site is also slow as the images take forever to load. Fingers crossed that cable comes tomorrow.
