This was not my intended blip.
I was going to put up a picture of a girl sitting in a shopping trolley, however, an employee of the store where I took the photograph came rushing up and sternly told me that photographing was not permitted there. I apologised and briefly started to explain about blip but he shouted me down and then waltzed off to talk to his manager.... As I was leaving the premises the manager hauled me aside, in front of all the other customers (they probably all thought I was a shop lifter) , like I was some kind of criminal and very aggressively informed me that If I was seen there again with my camera then they would
"rip the film out of the camera and destroy it"
I do think they rather over reacted! I had apologised nicely and put my camera away on the first ticking off. I did then get a teeny bit uppity and told him, in my best Margot Ledbetter voice, he'd "have a job ripping the film out as there isn't any film in it". Ha ha!!
I flounced out of the store, head held high and by great fortune the ever present Croydon gulls were swooping above in the glorious blue sky. With a bit of luck this one might leave a little message on the manager's head when he goes outside later.
