Halloween vs. Christmas

I can imagine the converstion:

A: "It's nearly Halloween - we should decorate the shop window"
B: "Hmm, we'll need to start thinking about decorating it for Christmas too"
A: "Let me buy some decorations then"
B: "Money is tight - could we buy one set of decorations for both Halloween and Christmas?"
A: "How about a skeleton in a Santa suit"
B: "Perfect, we'll look festive for months for the cost of one set of decorations. Customers will be flocking to our door".

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the premises was not busy.
