Blackbird

I just mowed the lawn for the first time this year. The mower started up OK (relief) and I was joined by a very friendly blackbird, eager to search out worms and grubs in the grass. A wood pigeon seems to be building a nest in the tall bush outside our living room window, and there are signs that something may be considering the bird box we installed last year. And the hedgehog is back, not in residence yet, but evident from the way the food and water are disappearing each night, and the hedgehog shaped depression in the straw (plus loads of added designer leaves) in the hedgehog house. And we have tulips coming through. Spring is here!

In other news I have decided to return the brand new Peugeot 3008 we've had since October last year. They replaced the gearbox in February, which hasn't eliminated the whine, but they are now saying it is 'product definition' and should disappear after 10,000 miles or more. The dealer has made me an offer, which although not happy with we have accepted.
