Submission!

It's in! Submitted the PhD today! Where have the last 3 years gone?

It was a beautiful winter day on the campus: frost with gorgeous sunshine. My lovely PhD friends came with me to have the thesis bound, before we went to the official office to sign all of the forms and hand it in. Afterwards, we all went for a cheeky Baileys to celebrate :)

As part of the thesis, I had to write an 'Acknowledgements' section, where I expressed my heartfelt thanks to my two wonderful supervisors for their support and guidance; my family and loved ones for their faith in me; and my fantastic friends and PhD colleagues for their friendship and for providing much-needed coffee breaks! I ended with this:

'but most of all, thank you to Lucy and Izzy, my precious children, for making me smile every day and giving me the inspiration to complete this project: this work is dedicated to you. '

I love you babies, Mama can't wait to spend even more time with you now Xxx
