Up to Kit Hill to give oscar a good run only to discover 3 ponies! I thought of going somewhere else but then decided this would be a good training opportunity. Last time Oscar saw ponies up here he chased them! When we got close oscar actually stood still, which he does when he is sizing up a situation! I kept him on a short lead with a piece of cocktail sauasage in my hand to encourage him to just walk past them. It worked! Very fortuitously another dog came up and I was able to let him off the lead to play with him! The rest of the walk was uneventful - phew!
