Adding a little colour

It's been a silver linings day. Last night the washing machine broke. On Friday the Hoover broke. Today my car wouldn't start. My car not starting meant that we couldn't go to Miss Pink's swimming lesson, and this made miss Pink a bit sad.

As I said it was a silver linings type day; the silver lining meaning that as we couldn't rush around everywhere to get jobs done as the car was broken, we ended up spending lots of quality time together. Miss Pink and I made a cardboard box zoo, decorated the little trees for the mini pinks bedroom and lots of other lovely things. When master Pink came home from school, we made Moshi monster eye ball cakes and wrote Christmas cards for school chums.
