A happy celebration

I had a slightly longer lie in today. We still needed to be in Norwich by 8 but as I drove in, it meant we could get in a bit quicker. So I dropped Henry off 5 minutes walk from his work experience and parked near work. A very long and busy day ensued. I met Jon and Henry at lunchtime and we had lunch together.

At 5.30 a group of us joined Pat to celebrate her retirement. We enjoyed drinks, lots of happy chatter and a nice meal. A lovely way to end my busy week.

I left the group at just after 8pm and drove to Hoddesdon. I arrived at 10.15 and will spend tomorrow with mum and dad.

I'm still having g a lie in tomorrow though!

Not mentioning Brexit...which was supposed to happen today. What a mess!
