One of my work friends

I’m not sure if this is Mr. or Mrs. - I saw them one day sitting together on a pole, but it was dreary and they didn’t stay long enough for me to get a very good look. Every year at work there is a pair who nests nearby, and last year I think they had one baby, who was the hawk I saw regularly at the ball field. I haven’t seen him at the ball field since 12/31, so I’m not sure if he is now part of this couple. There are only a few blocks in between the two locations, and both areas seem to be part of their general territory.
I can’t believe there was ever a time when I wasn’t so obsessed with birds...
