Off to the Puffin Pool with Anne first thing.It was dry and bright so a lovely ride over to Dingwall.
Anne gave me this super doorstop Squirrel and a lovely cushion with stags on it that she had made for my birthday.
I hoovered the stairs and tidied before David's friend Peter came round.
We've discovered that the Female Pine marten has decided to have her babies in a hole above a window out the front. We had smelt a strange smell in the bedroom when we came back from our trip and could not work out where it was coming from.It smelt like either there was something rotten in the room or that something had died , maybe a bird had got in but no , after hearing strange noisies too I'm sure it's the pine marten.We'll wait until the kits have left the nest and then take a look.You can a see a gap where she must be getting in.
