Church, Chamonix

Too much snow on the first day of a short ski break in the French Alps meant avalanche risk and only a handful of runs open. Alan and I decided to wander around town and have a long, late lunch whilst John and Doug battled the elements at Les Houches. A good decision from the looks of them on return. I took this picture whilst walking back to the apartment.
