A NEW LITTLE SAXIFRAGE
I have always loved these little flowers in fact rockery plants in general. I think it's because of their neatness.
In our new garden we have inherited a little row of rockery plants in front of the vegetable raised beds. So I have planted this one to add some more colour.
Oscar loves the raised beds and still thinks they are for him to sit in. We have netted them up but it still doesn't deter him. Today Mr A and I have managed to re-pot our enormous Acer Palmatum which we has been with us for over 20 years. It bravely survived the move but was obviously pot bound.
After managing to secure a large enough pot, in fact 90cms across, we then had the problem of how to get the old one out. With the use of rope, planks etc. it is now in its new shiny pot and already looks much happier. It is over 7ft. tall and was far too heavy to lift. So well done Mr A and his engineering skills.
Hope you are all having lovely sunshine. Sending hugs to you all. xxxx
