Exiled

The blossom on this bright red bromiliad has become pale. I Googled 'pale bromiliads' and the top hit was from the University of Florida. It turns out that too much sunlight will make these plants pale.

So this plant has been moved from the sunny kitchen window to Exile in the back bedroom where it will have a chance to recover in a less bright location.

Lineage of this particular plant is murky. Label on the little pot says '04 Brom Promo'.

It is tempting to improve the blossom's color in Photoshop, but THAT would be cheating!
