Nathaniel was in beside us at 6.45. I was not ready, but got breakfast sorted. Then they had homework. Nathaniel did his spellings then made a card for his mum while Ella had comprehension - a page to read then she had to write answers in sentences to the questions. She has no problem with reading and set to on the Guardian after.
She said they’d not made pancakes for ages - she was right as she could read the recipe and measure out the ingredients herself now. She was so sweet with Nathaniel, giving him turns and sharing the tasks.
Then we went to Cragside. Nathaniel had grown since his last time there so could reach monkey bars and climb things he couldn’t before. They shared the zip wire and had fun before we got round the trim trail. Nathaniel and I were tired.
They went home in the afternoon and Mr C and I had a nap in preparation for #2 daughter bringing the boys.
