Afternoon treat

My son picked me up in his swish car and whisked me away for afternoon tea in The White Horse Hotel in the centre of Dorking. This was a surprise Mothering Sunday treat, and we enjoyed the excellent tea. Too much for us to eat so we took doggie bags home for our partners. As much as the tea I enjoyed the one to one talk with my son, not something that often happens.
After a long time at our tea table we strolled down West Street looking in the windows of the antique shops. We drove a long way home, enjoying the spring countryside.
