A few minutes to curtain up.

The first day of my wife’s retirement; we went for a walk in the morning but felt weary after the last few days. We’d a lazy afternoon, unusual for us.

In the evening we went again to the iconic King’s Theatre to see “The Girl in the Train,” a physiological thriller based on the 2015 novel of the same name. It wasn’t a show we’d booked to see when we identified several others earlier in the year; but we were offered complimentary tickets by the Capital Theatres some time ago - we’d good seats, in a full house, and enjoyed the production.
