Morning sky.

It's been terribly windy all day. It was cloudy in the morning. Clear skies most of the day, but windy as hell. From midnight it's supposed to rain for 36 hours.

A friend of ours got hospitalized today in Madrid and had an emergency surgery on his intestines. He's out of surgery already, but test will show if the growth was cancerous. They say that they think it isn't.

His husband left from here to Madrid to get to the hospital. He was on the train and texted me to go check the house as he couldn't remember if he had locked the doors as he was in such a state of shock. All was good in the house so now it's just matter of recovering. Hopefully they will get to come back here soon together.

You never know how your day can take a turn and you are in the middle of a  nightmare.
