Making a nest

Such fun watching them bring in huge twigs held in the center so that every time they moved towards the nest they were sprung backward. Eventually, exhausted, they dropped the twig but caught the end and then were able to move forward. But they didn't learn so I guess it is their first year's attempt. The owner of the tree doesn't want them near her little birds who also nest in the garden so I think the eggs destined for this one are doomed.
