Reeds and Shadows

Shadow patterns across the reed beds cast by the setting sun picking out tufts here and there. Calm and not too cold, it was a joy to take my time walking around in the fresh early evening.

I dare not walk out on the ice now and besides it's quite slushy so I'd probably need wellies.

It's tricky light to shoot in because the dynamic range is so high, but any later and it would get flat and be a different photo.
