Kick It Out

Topically, given the events in Montenegro earlier in the week, Yeovil's players were marking the Football League's campaign against racism and for equality and inclusion by wearing the campaign's "Kick It Out " logo on their training shirts before today's game.

Sadly, despite parting company with our manager after last week's game, a bigger and more supportive crowd and generally playing better football than of late, we still lost 3-1 to Newport who still looked the better team. We had a lot of the ball but our problem was we couldn't "Kick It In" the net.

Tess & I were pleased to improve on our personal best times again in this morning's park run, which had a bigger than usual number of participants as it was the 50th Street run.

Kate & Sophie came over this afternoon for a bit of retail therapy with Tess and are staying the night in preparation for Mothers' Day tomorrow. Apparently, Sophie has volunteered me for cooking breakfast in bed for Mummy and Grandma; even worse, she's offered to help:)
