Kingfisher #36

Posting early as parents and brother are coming round for dinner a bit later on. This beauty landed right in front of me as I stepped into Ramsdale hide at Pennington Flash. He stayed long enough for a few shots and then he was off again - great to see they are still around. I met a guy in Bunting hide who was saying that he had not seen a kingfisher for weeks, so I guess I was very lucky. 

Tomorrow I have a 4am alarm call as I am off to Paderborn for a couple of nights - it's going to be a looooong day I think....
